Katherine values function, comfort and beauty, which is achieved through classic design practices and an artistic approach to composition. Beginning with research and inspiration, she moves through the stages of design to find you the most efficient, useable and elegant solution, while adhering to practical measures such as budget, accessibility, and timeline.

A hallmark of her approach is her knack of listening to clients and then successfully interpreting their needs and desires. Her approach involves attentive practiced hearing, sensible evaluation while encouraging ethical and sustainable choices. The result is delivered on budget and on time - resulting in timeless spaces.

Katherine’s career started at the pioneering residential development company Manhattan Loft Corporation which brought loft living to London; creating exceptional living space from former factories and derelict warehouses. There were projects with David Linley, David Archer Architects, HOK and Ibbotson Architects.

This exposure to beautiful, impactful buildings and talented creatives had a lasting effect on her and she decided to take her eye for interiors and natural flair to the next level, beginning formal training in 2009 at The British College of Interior Design. After practical training in upholstery in Kingston Upon Thames and setting up Katherine Clare Interiors in London, she moved to Abu Dhabi in 2010 and took the company with her.
